Join Mrs. Lindsey and Mrs. Terri for after school art class provides students with an opportunity to explore their creativity and develop artistic skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. Classes typically include:
• Exploration of various art techniques and materials such as drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, printmaking, and mixed media.
• Guided instruction by experienced or degreed artists and art educators, often introducing both art fundamentals and art appreciation.
• Focus on creativity, self-expression, and skill-building—students create unique works while developing confidence and an understanding of visual arts.
• Project-based curriculum, where students complete artwork in different styles, inspired by art history, contemporary art, cultural influences, and familiar subjects (like animals, nature, or personal interests).
• Group and individual activities to encourage collaboration as well as personal artistic growth.
• Sessions scheduled after the school day4:00-6:00 for ages 6 to 12 years age.
