A Beginning Stained Glass workshop introduces participants to the essential skills and techniques needed to create 9”x9” stained glass art. In this hands-on workshop.
• Learn the fundamentals of stained glass, including glass cutting, grinding, foiling, assembling, and soldering.
• Work primarily with the copper foil (Tiffany) method to construct a stained glass panel, often around9”x9”in size, suitable for window hanging.
• Create a simple pattern, and choose glass from a variety of colors and textures.
• Receive instruction on safety practices and tool usage, such as cutters, grinders, soldering irons, and other basic glass tools.
• Complete the workshop with a finished stained glass piece to take home.
• No prior experience is required, and all materials and tools are usually provided for use during the session.
